Food, Music of the bands, and hanging out enjoying and visiting with new people and reconnecting with friends.  I have been sharing, and even when sometime when down due to sadness/changes of life, picks back up my spirit being, of all of our differences shared, in an evening of family event.  Thank you everyone for having a place to connect & being there enjoying.

In Process...Making yarn to hat, by Angela Howard



The finished hat is made from the blended 3 color yarn.
The top of the next to be finished hat is from the variegated yarn.  (Note: the Dark brown is hard to see form the black color so it looks like a two color striped hat.)  The yarn is below hat.


Blended 3 color merino sheep wool yarn used in top hat.

Tea dye, black, dark brown variegated Yarn.  Spun from Merino sheep wool roving.

 

Blended fiber with 3 colors and spun on Spindle to make yarn.

Lake Ivan, Louisiana 2014

"Traveling north LA.  Bossier Parish picture here is Lake Ivan its a total 500 acres sweet water lake maintained by Louisiana DFW. Is a fine place for fishing , hiking , picnics etc.  In the past year the Parish has built four new piers an restored the boat launch . What fun it is ."
