Sheep Shearing Day: Corriedate plus Fleece

Football moves that the camera missed...I got slammed, head shot with ewe head butted in my right cheek, knocking me over tea-kettle hard on the mud covered ground.  The balled up fleece I was holding went flying up and out of my arms, fumbling behind me.  Fiber and I recovered to finish and complete the day finishing in a total of a couple of hours.

Yamhill-Carlton School Craft Booth Fair in Carlton, Oregon

Angela Jane photography...reporting.

Handcrafted Ornaments
We start by collecting all of our ingredients(flour, water, salt.)  Once we have them, we poured flour, salt and water all together in a big bowl.  We each got a bowl and started to mix it up with our hands.  Once it was all nice thick like pizza dough, we rolled it our thin enough, but not thick.  We then spent a couple days waiting for the baking to be done.  When the ornaments were all baked, all of us started painting one at a time in different styles.  Now once they're dry we sell them at the craft fair.

Face Painting
Since our group is called The Crazy Creative Creatures, we got our face painted like cats.  Not everybody wanted it but it was needed.  We spent about 6 hours wearing face paint.  It was pretty fun.

Camera
I was walking with a camera around the craft fair taking pictures of art and crafty things that would work for my group.  It would give us idea's of what we would want to do.  Next time we do a booth we'll know what to make.

Wild arachnid at home. She built the web, the web catches flying bugs and insects, she wraps up, and eats later.

Another angle of same spider, she saw my presence
and positioned Herself in the upper corner of the web.

Garden Spider Orb web weaver spinning hers in the rose bush.

Pansies in the deck container.  I love how no matter how shaded or cold it gets these are winter flowers.  I dead head when the petals fall, and I notice more blossoms stick their necks up to bloom.
Fuzzy got stuck up on the roof again.

Pumpkins for Fall harvest.  All the seeds used to grow the plants in this garden are of the heirloom seeds that where planted when the white settlers came over to homestead.
