Northwest Trek Park, Washington State Trip
What I just found hunting in woods. Angela Jane reporting from Washington...
Up, out & about on our state exploration, hunting for some great trophies found.
Almost out of gas, pulling into a station I walk in and say, "I'm from Oregon an d I forgot how to pump my own gas." (working on my public relationship skills) My honesty brought out some smiles and Oh, I did figure out how to pump on......
Thank you to the friends who we enjoyed visiting with sharing of the outdoors.
The next trip we took up to Washington and I pulled into a gas station, my daughter leaned over and said to me, "Mom, we're not in Oregon, you have to pump your own gas."
Note...she did not want us to sit there till I realized oh yea, we haven't passed the border yet.

Fish: Sturgeon in tank at Cabela's. Lacey, Washington
Sturgeon live at Cabela's |
What an adventure, only got lost driving north after leaving the gas station to head south back to the state of Oregon. Told by our own comic illustrator, "Now remember Mommy you have get out to pump your own gas." Good catch, kid.
This is a small Sturgeon. They get really big, as I have seen photos of 5 feel long, form old fisherman's album.

Drawing, getting ready for the fishing trip tip
When are we going fishing?!?!?" asks Spider. Illustrated by Rachael H. |
Drawing, fishing with worms tip
Illustrated by Rachael H. |
"The only Fish in this lake that I can think of are..." Fuzzy thinks, "A. trout, B.steelhead." |
Lid cover with smaller then the worm breath holes, for your worm holding tin, there is a reason for crawlers in their name. For those fishermen who need more stretches in your day, don't worry about a lid and it ups your chances of proving that fishing is an active sport.

Jackson Bottom Wetland Trails and Nature In Hillsboro,Oregon 2012
Another day rolling into the time that the bats and owls wake up. The season of fall weather displaying in natures colors and wind. A warm breeze against my cheek. This is my favorite time of the year. I, Angela Jane.... reporting for this newsletter to promote and share these outdoor places so close to the city where nature thrives with all of us. This is when I got a new boyfriend who has a knack of photography to be with me. (Fall changes and he was gone in the winter, like the leaves covering the ground taking another direction with his life)

Fishing: Hwy 6 junction to Forest Grove, Oregon
Lots of bites, 5 little fish were caught and released. It was a very nice weather day, and Little Bear (our mascot) stepped off the plank we were crossing through the boggy areas, and to his surprise, the water was deeper than he thought. He was wet up to his chest. Bear is not a water dog.

Honda Triplets, Hillsboro, Oregon: Police Motercycle Cruisers
The ultimate adventure road trip is seeing and not being pulled over by these road machines.
Following the speed signs helps safety for everyone and these two wheelers help us to remind to slow down and enjoy the ride. I like riding two up myself, so I took a wishful note from my memories, away from my paperwork when the first cycle pulled in and parked. Back to writing, then hearing the second one pull in, I looking up and commented "Twins!" by the time the third parked I had to take a photo of these triplets for this newsletter.
P.S. I did ask first.
Angela Jane....reporting.
Later I called an old friend and said "You know you're getting older, when you see the cops at McDonalds.... My friend cut me off and said very excitedly...."They're serving Donuts at McDonalds now!?" I was speechless, because my thought was - kids, go for happy meals, at McDonalds, and the cops where much younger than my friend an I. So much for me pulling that joke off or my friend realizing how long we have lived.
